In the Name of God amen
The one And Twentieth daie of January 1615 / I
Mary Sayr of Gaitsid in the Countie of durham Singlewoman Sicke in
Bodie but whole & p[er]fect of My Remembraunce praysed be God doe
ordayne and Make this My Testamente Contayninge My Last will in
Maner and forme followinge That is to saye First I Bequeathe My
soule into the hand[e]s of Almightie God My Maker And Christ Jesus
his only sonne & My alone savioure & Redemer hopinge only by his
death and passion to have full forgivenes of all My Synnes ^ And my
body to be buryed in decent Maner [interlined] ^ And for My worldlie
goodes w[hi]ch God in his Mercy hath Lente Me I do dispose Thereof
As Followeth Item I Give and Bequeath All My good[e]s And Chattells
Movable and unmovable My debt[e]s & funerall Expences beinge paide
and discharged unto Richard Robinson John Robinsone and Jane
Robinsone the Children of My Brother in Law Robert Robensone of
Gatesid afore saide Cordyner ^ Equally to be divided amongst them
[interlined] ^ and I do ordayne and make the saide Roberte Robinson
My Brother in Lawe sole Executor of this My Last will and Testamente
It[e]m ^ my brother [interlined] ^ James Sayr is owinge Me by a bill
under his owne hand fyve pound[e]s and Tenn shillings It[e]m there
is att My sayde Brother James his house one Cubbord a Chest and a
Bedsteed of Myne Also there is due to Me by My saide Brother James
yearely to be paide and delivered to me so longe as I Lyve one
bushell of Bigge whereof there is Two Bushells now due also he hath
on sheepe of Myne / In witnes whereof I have heare unto putt My hand
