Know all men by these presents, that we, James
Sayer of the Borough and County of Newcastle upon Tyne, Innkeeper,
Thomas Sayer of North shields in the County of Northumberland,
Gentleman, and .. Anthony Peele of the City of Durham, gentleman are
held and firmly bounden

in the sum of two thousand
pounds
. .. etc.. Dated the twenty first day of April in the
fifteenth year of the reign of our sovereign lady Victoria, by the
grace of god et etc
one thousand eight hundred and fifty two.
The condition of this obligation is such that
if the above bounden James Sayer, the son, one of the next of kin
and a legatee named in the last will and testament of James Sayer
late of the Borough and County of Newcastle upon Tyne in the Diocese
of Durham. Gentleman, deceased, and administrator with the same
annexed, of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the
said deceased, there being no executor or residuary legate named in
the said will and Thomas Sayer, Elizabeth Coulthard, wife of William
Coulthard, and Jane Turner, wife of William Turner, the son and
daughter and only other next of kin of the said deceased having
severally duly renounced, do make or cause to be made, a true and
perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and
credits of the said deceased etc etc
Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of
Tho Jones
On the 21st Day of April 1852 James Sayer the
administrator with the will annexed was duly sworn as
under
£1000. And that the testator died on the 2nd day of April 1852.
