The Will of Michael Samways

In the Name of God Amen This is the last
Will and Testament of me Michael Samways of Charminster in the
County of Dorset Innholder made and Published this Sixteenth day
of September in the Year of our Lord 1760 First I Give to my
Brother John Samwayes fforty Pounds And I Give to my Neice Ann
Hawker and to my Nephew Charles Samwayes Thirty pounds I Give to
my Neices Mary and Elizabeth Dollins (both since Marryed in
London)and to my Neice Mary Tayler the like Legacys of Thirty
Pounds apeice And I Give to my Daughter in Law Bathsheba Green
and to my Sister Hannah Coombes the like Legacy of Thirty Pounds
a Peice And I Give Susanna my Wife my House in Weymouth and
Melcombe Regis for her life And I Give to Ann the Daughter of
Ralph Brine of Dorchester ffive pounds And all the rest of my
Goods Chattels Credits and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I
Give to my Nephew John Russell whom I make Executor of this my
last Will and Testament revoking all former by me made
requesting him to bury me in an handsome and to pay the said
Legacys in one Year after my Death if my Money can be
conveniently got in In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand
and Seal the Day and Year first above written Michael Samways
