In the name of god Amen, I John Saire of Loup
House, aged in body but of perfec remembranture(?) do make in my
last will and testament in manner and form following. First, I give
my soul into the hand of Almighty God my maker hoping to be saved
through the merit of his son my saviour; and my body to be buried at
Bowes at

. to my late loving wife: .. for my temporal
estate, my will and mind is and I hereby give and bequeath unto my
sonne George from and immediately after my decease all my goods that
is to say all the household stuff(?) in sight as it is

condition found(?) with in the house and all other goods whatsoever
without the house be they sheep, horse,
. or of whatsoever
my
son George upon the
possession thereof paying unto my sonne Henry
Saire ten pounds if he be living; as also
all my debts and
funeral expenses, as for the rest of my goods so with such monies as
are ongoing
by Charles Hutchingson my sonne in law of Cragg,
in
a

..unto my sonne Henry Saire whom I make
sole executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof
I have here unto put my hand and seal this day and year first about
