I Ralph Sayor of Jolby in the County of Yorks Gent being in good and perfect memory thanks be to God do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following.  First I give and bequeath my soul unto the hands of Almighty God my creator hoping only for everlasting life and salvation *** mediation of jesus Christ my only saviour and redeemer and as for my worldly estate whereonwith it hath pleased God to bless me it shall be disposed of in manner and form following.  First I give and bequeath to my five children Elizabeth, Thomas, Mary, Frances (?), and Francis (?) Sayer the sum of sixty pounds ** and in case there should not be so much money after my decease as will fully satisfy and pay  ** of my aforesaid fiver children ** I will and ordain that so much of my ** shall be sold as will make good the same.  Secondly I give and bequeath to my dear and loving wife the remainder of my ** together with all my ** as well as debts that are owing for ******* her a catalogue and making her my whole executrix of this my last will and testament upon condition of her paying sixty pounds a piece to each of my above named five children desiring my dear sand loving brother George Sayer to see my will **** and fully executed in witness I have hereunto set my hand and seal the eighth day of August one thousand seven hundred and sixteen.  Ralph Sayer.  Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of is Margaret Fausdon (?), George Bell, George Fausdon (?)
