The Will of Mary Ryall
The last Will
and Testament of
me Mary Ryall of
Wareham in the
County of Dorset
Widdow made and
published this
Fourteenth Day
of September
1756
I give and
bequeath to each
of my three
Nieces Ann Lamb
Frances Cribb &
Mary Cribb the
Sume of Fifty
Pounds to be
paid by my
Executor And my
Will is that my
Niece Frances
Cribb shall have
& enjoy the
Income of my
Estate called
Swailes Breach
in the Parish of
Morden from half
a Year after my
Death dureing
the remainder of
the terme to
come on the
same, and if she
should mary and
have Child or
Children and
should Dye &
leave such Child
or Children my
Will is that
such Child or
Children after
her Dicease
shall have &
enjoy the same
in Manner as the
Law directs with
respect to
Leasehold
Estates And
further my Will
is that if my
said Niece
Frances Cribb
shall happen to
dye unmarried or
if Married &
leave no
Children , That
then & in such
Case my said
Estate at Morden
Call’d Swailes
Breach shall
returne to my
said Niece Mary
Cribb and to her
Child or
Children in the
same manner to
be held &
enjoyed by her
as them as is
mention’d above
& with respect
to her sister
Frances Cribb.
And if it should
so happen that
my said Niece
Mary Cribb
should happen to
Dye a Single
Woman or Married
not having any
Child that then
and in such Case
my said Estate
called Swailes
Breach shall
remain to my
other Niece Ann
Lamb& beher
Heirs during the
remainder of the
sd Terme. I also
give and
bequeath All
other my
Household Goods
Bedding Wearing
Apparel Books
and all other
things
whatsoever that
I am possess’d
of at the terme
of my Death
whether Plate
money or
whatever it be
To my Two Nieces
Frances & Mary
Cribb above
mentioned or to
the Survivor of
them (in Case
one of them
should Dye
before me) And
my other Niece
Ann Lamb, to be
distributed to
them by my
Executor or
Executrix either
at or before
they arrive at
the Age of
Twenty one
Years. And I do
nominate&
appoint my
Brother in Law
William Cribb
and Ann Cribb
his now wife to
be Executor and
Executrix of
this my last
Will and
Testament hereby
revoking and
making void all
my other or
former Wills
Deeds of Gift or
any other
bequests of any
kind whatsoever
by me formerly
made done or
executed Mary
