This is the last Will and Testament of me Frederick Sandford Rose of Rose Cottage Chorley Wood Common Rickmansworth in the County of Herts Gentleman revoking all former wills and codicils by me at any time made I devise all the real estate of whatsoever tenure and wheresoever situate to which I shall at my decease be entitled either in possession reversion or otherwise to my wife Emily Rose and her assigns for her life and after her decease unto my daughter and only child Emily Elizabeth Fox the wife of Arthur Edward Fox of Rose Cottage aforesaid her heirs executors administrators and assigns for her separate use I bequeath all my personal estate to my trustees hereinafter named Upon trust to allow the same to remain in its present state of investment or to convert and get in the same and invest the monies to arise therefrom in the names or name of the trustees or trustee for the time being of my will in any of the securities authorized by the Trust Investment Act 1889 And upon further trust to permit my said wife to receive the annual income of my said personal estate or the securities whereon the same shall be invested during her life And after her death as to the same personal estate and securities and the annual income thenceforth to become due for the same In trust for my said daughter her executors administrators and assigns for her separate use I further empower my said trustees or trustee if they she or he shall think it advantageous so to do at any time or times with the consent of my said wife to sell my said real estate or any part or parts thereof And I direct that my said trustees shall invest the money to arise from the sale thereof in manner hereinbefore directed concerning the money to arise from my personal estate and shall hold the funds or securities whereon such investment shall be made upon the trusts hereinbefore contained concerning the funds or securities whereon the produce of my personal estate may be invested I empower the trustees or trustee for the time being of my Will to give receipts for all monies and effects to be paid or delivered to such trustees or trustee by virtue of my will and declare that such receipts shall exonerate the persons taking the same from all liability to see to the application or disposition of the money or effects therein mentioned I appoint my said wife and my son in law the said Arthur Edward Fox trustees and Executrix and Executor of this my will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of June one thousand eight hundred and ninety one

On the 27th say of December 1895 Probate of this will was granted to Emily Rose widow and Arthur Edward Fox the Executors

Be it known, that at the date hereunder written, the last Will and Testament of Frederick Sandford Rose of Rose Cottage Chorley Wood Common Rickmansworth in the county of Hertford Gentleman deceased who died on the 9th day of October 1895 at Aston and Cote in the county of Oxford was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice, and that administration of the personal estate of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Emily Rose of Chorleywood in the Parish of Rickmansworth aforesaid Widow the Relict and Arthur Edward Fox of the same place Gentleman the Executors named in the said Will they having been first sworn well and faithfully to administer the same
