This is the last Will
and Testament of me
Joseph Rogerson of Judd
Street Islington in the
County of Middlesex
Sheep Salesman I direct
all my just debts
funeral and testamentary
expences and the
expences of proving this
my will be fully paid
and satisfied I desire
to be buried in the same
grave as my late dear
wife in Islington
Churchyard and that if
practicable the body of
my deceased Son Joseph
may be removed from the
grave where it at
present lies and be laid
with the remains of
myself and my said wife
I direct my Executors
hereinafter named to
retain and preserve my
watch and silver spoon s
for the use of my dear
Daughter Penelope Ann
Rogerson on her
attaining twenty one I
bequeath to my said
Executors any book or
books they may chose to
select from my library
for their own use I
bequeath to Rebecca
Oldershaw of Holbeach
Marsh in the County of
Lincoln Spinster the sum
of five pounds sterling
and also an old box in
my room containing linen
with the contents
thereof And as to all
the residue of my Estate
and Effects whatsoever
and wheresoever I give
and bequeath the same
unto Sanders Leete of
Troywell in the County
of Northampton ffarmer
and Sarah Anna Rogerson
of Islington aforesaid
Spinster their executors
administrators and
assigns Upon Trust as
soon as conveniently may
be after my decease to
convert into money such
parts thereof as shall
not already consist of
money and invest the net
produce with any moneys
belonging to me in their
joint names or in the
name of the survivor his
or her executors or
administrators upon
Government or real
securities in England
with power from time to
time to vary the
securities to others of
a like nature And upon
Trust to apply the
interest dividends and
annual produce of the
moneys to be invested in
such manner as they may
think fit for the
benefit and support of
my said Daughter
Penelope Ann Rogerson
until she shall attain
the age of twenty one
years or marry And upon
her attaining that age
or marrying Upon Trust
to pay or transfer to
her the money so
invested for her own
absolute use and benefit
But in the event of her
dying under age And
unmarried I direct that
the monies so invested
for her own absolute use
and benefit shall
thereupon be paid or
transferred to the said
Sarah Anna Rogerson for
her own absolute use and
benefit to whom my said
watch and silver spoons
shall also be given by
my said Executors in the
like event And I direct
that my said Executors
shall not be answerable
for more money than
shall actually come to
their respective hands
by virtue hereof nor for
involuntary losses And
that they may retain and
allow to each other out
of any money that may
come to their hands all
expences incurred by
them in the execution
hereof And I appoint the
said Sanders Leete and
Sarah Anna Rogerson
Executor and Executrix
of this my will And
revoking all other
testamentary
dispositions by me made
I declare this to be my
last Will and Testament
