In the Name of God Amen I Christopher Robinson of Highnook in the Parish of Low Denton and County of Cumberland do make and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following ffirst I give and bequeath my Soul into the Hands of Almighty God hoping and believing a remission of my Sins by the Merits and Mediation of Jesus Christ and my Body I commit to the Earth to be buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And my Worldly estate I give and devise as follows ffirst I give and bequeath to William Bell of Lachay Hill the Sum of thirty Pounds Also I give and bequeath to Jane Lazonby of Cammock the sum of thirty pounds Also I give and bequeath to John Leathert Senior of Beckstone Gate the Sum of five Pounds Also I give and bequeath to Ann Serjeantson Daughter of John Leathert of Beckstone Gate the Sum of twenty pounds Also I give and bequeath to John Serjeantson of Burtham the Sum of twenty pounds and also my Gun Also I give and bequeath to Mrs Ann Hall of Alstone the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I give and bequeath to Mrs Bendale the Wife of John Bendale Shoe Maker in Brampton the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I give and bequeath to Mrs Pears Wife of William Pears Currier at Brampton the Sum of Ten Pounds Also I give and bequeath to John Atkinson Senior of High Nook the Sum of thirty pounds And also my White Galloway Also I give and bequeath to John Atkinson Junior of High Nook the Sum of thirty pounds Also I give and bequeath to Anne Atkinson Daughter of John Atkinson of High Nook the Sum of five pounds Also I give and bequeath unto Mary Barnfather Daughter of George Barnfather of Low Nook the Sum of five pounds All the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattels and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to be divided equally between Isabel Thompson and her Children at Howe and also I constitute and appoint the said Isabel Thompson Sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the ninth day of August in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety six Christopher Robinson
