The Will of George Robinson

 

Will of George Robinson of St Trinians Easby, Gent, 1792

 

Temporal estate as follows

To my cousin WILLIAM WILKINSON of Stockton on Tees, ropemaker, fifty pounds

To JOHN RAWLING, near Durham, Gentleman and ANN RAWLING, his wife one pound one shilling each

To THOMAS BOWES &WILSON BOWES both of London, one pound one shilling each

To WILLIAM DEWELL of Layton, otherwise Sedgefield, yeoman, an annuity or clear yearly rent charge of five pounds, payable out of my estate in half yearly instalments.

To my servant ELIZABETH STOKES, if she still be living with me, fifty pounds and good mourning

To my servant JOHN OULD, if he still be living with me, one annuity or clear yearly rent of one pound one shilling, payable half yearly.

All my freehold lands, tenements, hereditaments in the counties of York and Durham, and all the residue of my estate whatsoever to my brother PETER ROBINSON who I nominate executor.

Signed 26th April 1784

 

Witnessed WILLIAM WATSON, ROBERT RAILTON,& JAMES WENSLEY

 

Probate 16th June 1792
