This is the Will of me Martha Roberts of 63 Argyle Street Birkenhead in the County of Chester Widow I appoint my two daughters Elizabeth Roberts and Mary Ellen Roberts (hereinafter called my trustees)to be the executors and trustees of this my Will I give to my trustees the sum of one thousand pounds and also all my furniture personal chattels and other effects which shall be in or about my residence at the time of my decease upon trust to invest the said sum of one thousand pounds and to pay the income thereof to my said two daughters in equal shares until one of them shall marry and then to pay the whole income thereof to the other of them until she shall marry or until she shall die unmarried whichever shall first happen when I direct the said sum of one thousand pounds shall fall into the residue of my estate and be Applicable accordingly and upon trust to permit the persons or person who shall for the time being entitled to the income of the said sum of one thousand pounds to have the use and enjoyment of the said furniture chattels and effects until the said sum of one thousand pounds shall fall into the residue when I direct that the said furniture chattels and effects shall also fall into the said residue and I give all the residue of my estate to my said two daughters in equal shares absolutely and I also declare that all moneys needing or liable to be invested under this my Will may in addition to the securities authorized by the trustee Act 1893 or any Statutory Modification thereof or by any rule or order of the Supreme Court be invested in or upon any of the stocks funds or securities of or guaranteed by any British Colony or Dependency or any Foreign State or in the Debenture or guaranteed or preference stock or shares or Ordinary Stock or Shares of any Railway or other Company in Great Britain or Ireland Incorporated by special Act of Parliament or Royal Charter and which for ten years preceeding the date of investment shall have paid a dividend on its ordinary stock or securities of or issued by the Corporation of any Municipal Borough or by any County Council or other local public authority legally constituted As witness my hand this eighteenth day of January one thousand nine hundred and eleven
