In the Name of God Amen I Mary Reece of
the Township of Clodock in the County of Hereford Widow being
Sick and weak of Body but of sound and perfect Memory thanks be
to God for it do make this my last Will and Testament in manner
& form following first I give my Soul to Almighty God who gave
it & my Body to be buried in decent & Christian manner at the
Discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named & as for what
Worldly Goods God hath been pleased to bestow upon me I give
devise & bequeath the same in manner & form following ffirst I
give & bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Roberts the Sum of fifteen
Pounds Also I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Joan Reece the
Sum of fifteen Pounds Also I give & bequeath unto my Son John
Reece the Sum of ten Pounds Also I give and bequeath unto my
Granddaughter Mary Roberts one Trunk one Case of Drawers & the
Bed I now lie upon with its Appurtenances in Case she survives
me otherwise my Will is that the said Trunk Case of Drawers &
Bed with its Appurtenances shall be given to my Grandson John
Roberts And as to the rest of my Goods & Household Stuff now
lying in the Possession of my Son John Reece and undivided I
give & bequeath the same to be equally divided between my two
Daughters Joan Reece and Elizabeth Price and my Will is that all
the above Legacies be paid & delivered to the several Legatees
within the Space of one Year after my Decease And Lastly I
nominate & appoint my daughter Mary Roberts sole Executrix &
Residuary Legatee to this my last Will & Testament revoking void
all former Wills by me made In Witness hereof I have hereunto
set my Hand & Seal the thirtieth day of March 1759 _ The Mark of
