The Will of William Read
This is the last will and testament of me William Read of Bonny Street Blackpool in the County of Lancashire, Fruit and Potato Merchant. I appoint my son John Read & Elijah J Butcher of Cooker Street Blackpool, aforesaid Tailor (hereinafter called "my trustees") to be the Executors and Trustees of this my will. I give to my said son John the oil painting of my late father, the portrait of my brother Enoch, the Trowel and Mallet presented to my late father, and my watch and guard. I give all my furniture and household effects and my carts to my daughter Sarah Ann Riley. I give the portrait of myself and my late wife Ann to george Wale, the son of my said late wife. And I give, devise and bequeath the residue of my estate to my said trustees, upon trust after payment of my just debts, funeral and testamentary expenses to divide the same among all my children in equal shares. In witness whereof I have set my hand to this my last will,
