In the Name of God Amen I Benjamin Rayden of Broomfields in the Parish of Saint Paul Deptford in the County of Kent Gentleman being of sound mind memory and understanding do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say ffirst I recommend my soul to God who gave it and my Body to be buried in the Parish of Saint Paul Deptford at the discretion of my Executrix hereinafter named Secondly With respect to the little Property it hath pleased God to bless me with including not only the money in the Consolidated three Per Cent Annuities in the Bank of England but also the Lease of the house known as No 26 Broomfields in the aforesaid Parish of Saint Paul Deptford  or as much of the term as may be unexpired at the time of my decease together with all other my Worldly Goods Chattels and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I do bequeath the same to my beloved Wife Ann Rayden to be at her whole and sole disposal at any time and in any way or manner she may want or wish to apply them And I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloved Wife Ann rayden my whole and sole Executrix to this my last Will and Testament contained on this one side of the Paper In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal being the third of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine  _  Benj Rayden
