The Will of Charles Rathbone

 

In the Name of God Amen I Charles Rathbone of Wolverhampton in the County of Stafford Gentleman do make this my last Will and Testament this ninth day of July in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty ffirst I direct the payment of all my just debts ffuneral and testamentary expences out of my personal Estate and Effects I Give devise and bequeath unto my dear Wife Ann Rathbone her heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns respectively all my household Goods Personal Estate and Effects of what nature or kind soever and wheresoever and all my Lands and hereditaments whether freehold Copyhold or Leasehold or what other tenures the same may be Possession reversion or Expectancy to hold my said Personal and Real Estate unto my said Wife Ann Rathbone her heirs Executors Admors and Assigns respectively for ever and lastly I nominate and appoint my said Wife sole Executrix to this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written Charles Rathbone
