The Will of John Quintrell

 

DEATH ON OR AFTER 1st JANUARY, 1898

 

BE IT KNOWN that John Quintrell of 103 Francis Avenue Southsea in the County of Hants formerly of 107 Beach Farm Road Southsea aforesaid

died on the 11th day of April 1906 at 103 Francis Avenue aforesaid

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written the last Will and Testament of the deceased was proved and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of His Majesty’s High Court of Justice, and that administration of all the estate by which law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the aforesaid Court to Frank Emery Quintrell of 5 Wardrobe Place Doctors Commons in the City of London warehouseman the son the sole Executor named in the said will

Net value of Personal Estate £ 340-12-11

 

T H I S  I S  T H E  L A S T  W I L L AND T E S T A M E N T

of me JOHN QUINTRELL of 107 Beach Farm Road Southsea in the Parish of Portsmouth in the County of Hants Retired Master of the Portsea Island Union I devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate unto my son Frank Emery Quintrell of 5 Wardrobe Place Doctors Common London Warehouseman Upon trust to sell call in and convert into money the same or such part thereof as shall not consist of money and shall with and out of the moneys produced by such sale calling in and conversion and with and out of my ready money pay my funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and divide the residue thereof equally between all my children Provided always that if any child of mine shall die in my lifetime leaving a child or children who shall survive me and being a son or sons shall attain the age of twenty one years or being a daughter or daughters shall attain that age or marry under that age then and in every such case the last mentioned child or children shall take (and if more than one equally between them) the share which is his her or their parent would have taken under this my will if such parent had survived by I appoint my said son sole EXECUTOR and TRUSTEE of this my will and hereby revoke all former wills made by me and declare this to be my true last will and testament IN WITNESS whereof I have hereunto set my hand this second day of September One thousand nine hundred and one – JOHN QUINTRELL – Signed by the said John Quintrell the testator as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us both being present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses – BENJn KENT Slor Portsmouth –HARRY GEO STARES Clerk to Mr B Kent

 

On the 10th day of May 1906 Probate of this Will was granted to Frank Emery Quintrell the Sole Executor
