in body but of sound
mind memory and
Understanding thanks to
Almighty God for the
same do make this my
last will and Testament
in manner and form
following that is to say
I give and bequeath unto
my dear wife Ann
Quarterman her
Executors Admors and
Assigns one hundred
pounds ffive per cent
Stock now standing in my
name in the Books of the
Governor and Company of
the Bank of England but
if my said wife shall
happen to die in my life
time then I give and
bequeath the said one
hundred pounds Stock
unto my son James
Quarterman his Executors
Admors and Assigns I
give and bequeath all my
household ffurniture
unto my said wife during
the term of her natural
life and after her
decease I give the same
to my children John Mary
Elizabeth and James
equally to be divided
amongst them share and
share alike and all my
ready money and after
the rest and residue of
my Stocks ffunds and
securities for money
Personal Estate and
Effects of what nature
or kind soever and
wheresoever after
payment of my just Debts
ffuneral and
Testamentary Expences I
give and bequeath unto
my said wife Ann
Quartermaine her
Executors Admors and
Assigns to and for her
own use and benefit and
I hereby nominate and
appoint my said Wife Ann
Quartermaine Sole
Executrix of this my
will and hereby revoking
all former and other
wills by me at any time
heretofore made do
declare this only to be
my last will and
