Ann Quarterman

In
the Name of God Amen I
Ann Quarterman of Church
Cowley in the County of
Oxford in manner (that
is to say)I give and
bequeath unto my brother
John Walters and my son
in law John Quarterman
the sum of twenty pounds
a piece Also I give and
bequeath unto my
daughters in law Mary
Haddaway and Mary
Quarterman to Hannah
Hurst wife of Stephen
Hurst of Church Cowley
and to my granddaughter
now living the sum of
five pounds a piece all
which said legacies I
direct shall be paid at
the expiration of six
months next after my
decease Also I give and
bequeath unto Elizabeth
Illsden of Garsington
the sum of five Pounds
to be paid to her by
weekly sums of two
shillings and the first
payment to be made after
the expiration of one
week next after my
ffuneral And all my
ready money money in the
ffunds and other my
Personal estate and
effects I give and
bequeath unto my friend
Andrew Bridgwater of
Oxford Grocer In trust
after paying my just
debts funeral and
testamentary expences
and the above mentioned
legacies to pay the
residue of my said
Property to my son James
Quarterman And I hereby
appoint the said Andrew
Bridgwater sole Executor
of this my last will and
revoke all former wills
by me made In witness
whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal the
