The Will of John Quartermain

 

In the Name of God Amen I John Quartermain of Trinity College in the university of Oxford do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say ffirst I recommend my Soul to Almighty God and request that my Executrix hereinafter named will fulfill this my last desire and let my body be interrd in a plain decent manner and my request further is that after my funeral expences and just debts are paid which I wish to be done as soon as convenient after my decease the remainder of my property both real and personal and of every description whatsoever I give and bequeath to my beloved Aunt Martha Lovegrove Spinster of the City of Oxford for her intire use and benefit and to dispose of in any way hereafter as she may think proper and my Will further is that my Aunt Martha Lovegrove shall be my whole and sole Executrix revoking all other Wills at any time by me made In Witness whereof I the said John Quartermain have set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of December one thousand eight hundred and two John Quartermain   (Attestation Clause)   Wm Folkes _ Mary Hodges _ Thomas Beck   Proved at London 20 August 1803   PCC Prob11/1398
