The Will of John Quant

 

The last Will and Testament of me John Quant of Evershot in the County of Dorset Schoolmaster In the first place I request that I may be buried in the South Tomb belonging to my family opposite the Church Porch of Hinton St George in the County of Somerset And secondly I order that after my decease my Goods shall be valued & sold and the Money arising from the Sale of them shall be added to the other Property I give to my Wife Ann Quant during the term of her natural life And I further give her power to bestow at the time of her death one Moiety or half of my Property as she may think proper the other I bequeath to my Survivng Sister or Sisters or their Children in equal Shares Witness my hand John Quant

Further Grant 15 May 1821 to Elizabeth Clay wife of .... Clay (relationship illegible)
