The Will of John Quallett

 

In the Name of God Amen I John Quallett of the Parish of Saint Mary Rotherhithe in the County of Surry Shipwright being of sound Mind and Memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say Imprimis I direct that all my just Debts Legacyes and funeral charges shall be fully paid and satisfied And all the Rest and Residue of my Estate of what nature or kind soever the same may consist at the time of my decease I give and bequeath Two Third Parts thereof unto my two Brothers Richard Quallett and Edward Quallett and the other Third Part thereof I give and bequeath unto my said Two Brothers In Trust that they and the Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor shall from time to time Pay and Apply the Interest or Profits arising therefrom unto and for the use and Maintenance of my Sister Mary Quallett during her natural Life and after her decease I give the said last mentioned Third Part of the Residue of my Estate unto my said Two Brothers equally to be divided between them Item I give and bequeath unto my Nephew John Quallett all my Books Drafts Papers and Utensils whatsoever used by me in the way of my business as a Shipwright And lastly I do hereby revoke all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made and do declare this to be my last Will and Testament And I do make and appoint John Coke of London Merchant Executor hereof And do give him Twenty Pounds for Mourning In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Ninth day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty Three

On 21 October 1761 Administration (with the Will annexed) of John Quallett late of St Mary Rotherhithe Widower deceased was granted to James Quallett Esq the Nephew of the deceased John Coke the sole executor and Edward Quallett and Mary Quallett the brother and sister of the deceased having died in the lifetime of the Testator and the only surviving next of kin Richard Quallett brother of the deceased renouncing
