This is the last Will and Testament of me
Edward Preston of Cheswardine in the said County of Salop
Gentleman who being of sound and disposing mind and memory and
understanding do make and publish the same as follows ffirst I
give and devise to my Son George Preston All that my leasehold
Messuage or Tenement Lands and Premises situate and being in the
Township of Woodsoaves in the said County of Salop now or late
in the tenure or occupation of Joseph Stubbs his Assigns or
Undertenants with the rights members and Appurtenances thereto
belonging To hold to my said Son George Preston and his assigns
for and during all my Estate and Interest therein Subject to the
Covenants Conditions Provisos and agreements contained in the
lease under which I hold the same Item I give and bequeath to my
Son Edward Preston the Sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to
him within six months next after my decease Item I give and
bequeath to John Boyce of Blow in the County of Stafford
Gentleman the Sum of two hundred pounds Upon trust to permit and
suffer my Wife Sarah Preston and her Assigns to receive and take
the interest thereof by half yearly Payments for and during the
term of her natural life and from and after her decease Upon
trust to pay fifty pounds part thereof to my said Son George
Preston his Executors Admors or Assigns ffifty pounds other part
thereof to my said Son Edward Preston his Exors Admors or
Assigns And one hundred pounds residue thereof to my said Son
Preston his Exors Admors or Assigns I give and bequeath to my
said Wife Sarah Preston my best new ffeather Bed Bolster Pillows
Blankets Bedstead Hangings and Appurts thereto belonging Also
six Silver Table Spoons six Silver tea spoons Sugar Tongs Cream
Jug and Punch Ladle Item I give and bequeath to my said Wife the
use of all my household ffurniture during her life and from and
after her decease I give and bequeath the same to my said Son
William Preston his Exors Admors and Assigns Item all the rest
and residue of my Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever
Subject to the Payment of my debts and funral Expences I give
and bequeath to my said Son William Preston his executors admors
or Assigns and lastly my Will and desire is that my body may be
decently and privately interred at the discretion of my Executor
hereinafter named And I do hereby nominate constitute and
appoint my said Son William Preston sole Executor of this my
last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to the
first sheet of this my Will written and contained in two sheets
of paper set my hand and to the last my hand and Seal this
ffifteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven
