This is the last Will and Testament of me Jeremiah Powell of Hopton in the County of Montgomery Gentleman I give and devise unto my dear Wife Sarah Powell all that messuage or tenement farm and lands with the appurtenances thereunto belonging called Red Hopton situate in the Parish of Churchstoke in the County of Montgomery now in my own occupation to hold the same to her the said Sarah Powell for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her decease I give and devise the same messuage or tenement farm and lands unto my son Edward Powell to hold to him the said Edward Powell his heirs and assigns for ever I also give & bequeath unto my said Wife all the stock of Cattle sheep horses Hay Grain implements of Husbandry Household furniture and other effects which shall be in the house and upon the farm at Hopton aforesaid at the time of my decease I also give and bequeath unto my said Wife Sarah Powell an annuity or clear yearly sum of two hundred pounds for and during the term of her natural life the same to be paid and payable to her out of the interest of my money half yearly upon Michaelmas and Lady day in each year in even and equal portions the first payment to commence and be made on such of these days as shall first happen next after my decease All the Residue and Remainder of my real and personal Estate of what nature or kind soever the same may consist of after payment of my just debts funeral and testamentary expences I give devise and bequeath unto my said son Edward Powell to hold to him the said Edward Powell his heirs and assigns for ever And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Sarah Powell and son Edward Powell joint Executrix and Executor of this my Will hereby revoking and making void all former Will and Wills by me heretofore made In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will set my hand and seal the thirty first day of May one thousand eight hundred and thirty one _ Jeremiah Powell
