In
the Name of God Amen I
Ann Powell of Blackney
in the Parish of Awre in
the County of Gloucester
Spinster do make publish
and declare this my last
Will and Testament in
manner following (that
is to say) I give and
bequeath to my Brother
John Powell of
Tewkesbury in the County
of Gloucester Shipwright
the Interest of one
hundred pounds Stock now
standing in my Name in
the four percent
Annuities for and during
the term of his natural
life and from and after
his decease I give and
bequeath the said one
hundred pounds Stock and
the produce thereof unto
the four Children of my
said Brother John to be
equally divided between
them Subject
nevertheless to the
payment of the sum of
ffive pounds which I
give and bequeath
thereout unto and
amongst all and every
the Children of my late
Brother Joseph Powell I
give and bequeath unto
my Brother Noah Powell
of Berkeley in the
County of Gloucester
Shipwright One hundred
pounds Stock Part of the
Sum of one hundred and
Twenty Pounds Stock now
standing in my Name in
the said four percent
Annuities subject also
to the payment of the
sum of ffive pounds
which I do give and
bequeath thereout unto
and amongst all and
every the Children of my
late Brother Joseph
Powell I give and
bequeath unto my Sister
Christian the Wife of
Richard Craduck of
Blackeney aforesaid
Blacksmith the Sum of
Twenty Pounds Stock the
remainder of the said
one hundred and Twenty
Pounds Stock (One
hundred pounds of which
is by me before
bequeathed to my said
Brother Noah) and also
Eighty Pounds Stock now
also standing in my Name
in the said four percent
Annuities I give and
bequeath my watch unto
Ann Powell daughter of
my Nephew John Powell of
Broadoak Shipwright I
give and bequeath all my
Linen and wearing
apparel unto my Sister
Christian Craduck and my
Niece Catharine Powell
Daughter of my Brother
Noah to be equally
divided between them as
near as may be in point
of value and as to all
other my personal Estate
and Effects I give the
same to my Nephew John
Powell of Broad Oak whom
I do nominate and
appoint Executor of this
my last Will and
Testament hereby
revoking all former
Wills by me made In
Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and
Seal the Eleventh day of
September in the Year of
