Porter being sick and
weak in Body do make and
ordain this my last Will
and Testament in manner
following that is to say
ffirst I will that all
such Debts as I shall
justly owe at the time
of my decease and my
ffuneral Charges and
Expences be in the first
place paid by my
Executors herein after
named and as to my
Estate both real and
Personal I dispose
thereof in manner
following that is to say
ffirst I give and devise
all that my ffreehold
Messuage or Tenement
Garden and Premises with
the Appurts situate and
being at Shrivenham in
the County of Berks now
in the occupation of my
Sister Sarah Pound Widow
unto my dear and loving
Wife Elizabeth Pound and
her Assigns for and
during the term of her
natural life and from
and after her decease I
give and devise the said
Messuage or Tenement
Garden and Premises with
the Appurtenances unto
my said Sister Sarah
Pound her Heirs and
Assigns for ever Also I
give and bequeath unto
my good ffriends
Benjamin Baxter of
Christ Church College
aforesaid and John Keep
of the City of Oxford
Cordwainer all and every
Sum and Sums of Money
which I have in the
Government ffunds Stocks
or out upon Mortgages
Bonds Bills Notes of
Hand or other Securities
Upon Trust that they and
the Survivor of them do
and shall from time to
time call in and place
out the same again as
they shall think proper
in their Names or Name
and the Interest
Dividends and Produce
thereof do and shall
from time to time Pay
unto or else Permit and
suffer my said dear Wife
Elizabeth Pound and her
Assigns to have receive
and take for and during
the Term of her natural
Life and from and
immediately after her
decease they the said
Benjamin Baxter and John
Keep and the Survivor of
them his Executors and
Administrators shall
stand and be possessed
of all and every such
sum and sums of Money as
I have in the Government
ffunds or out upon other
Securities In Trust for
William Pound Elizabeth
Pound and Mary Pound Son
and Daughters of my said
Sister Sarah Pound to be
equally divided between
them share and share
alike Also I give and
bequeath all my Wearing
Apparel unto the said
William Pound Elizabeth
Pound and Mary Pound
equally to be divided
between them share and
share alike and all the
rest and residue of my
Goods chattels furniture
and Personal Estate of
what nature or kind
soever and wheresoever I
give and bequeath unto
my said Wife Elizabeth
Pound and I do hereby
make ordain nominate and
appoint the said
Benjamin Baxter and John
Keep joint Executors of
this my Will hereby
revoking all former and
other Will and Wills by
me at any time
heretofore made Provided
always and I do hereby
declare my will and
desire that my said
Trustees or either of
them shall not be
answerable for any
Monies that may be lost
at Interest if the same
be not lost thro’ their
neglect and that they
shall not be answerable
the one of them for the
other of them but each
of them for their own
acts and Deeds only And
lastly I do hereby
authorize them
respectively to deduct
and keep out of the said
trust Monies all such
costs and Expences which
they may expend Pay or
be put unto in or about
the execution of the
Trusts of this my Will

two Sheets of Paper to
the first Sheet set my
