Widow being sick and
weak in Body but of
sound and perfect Mind
Memory and Understanding
do make and ordain this
my last Will and
Testament in manner
following that is to say
ffirst I will that all
such Debts as I shall
justly owe at the time
of my Decease and my
ffuneral Expences be in
the first Place paid by
my Executor hereinafter
named And as to my
worldly Estate I dispose
thereof as follows that
is to say ffirst I give
and bequeath unto my
dear Mother Elizabeth
Johnson of Cow Cross
Street near Smithfield
Bars London Widow all
and every Sum and Sums
of Money which I have in
the Government or Public
ffunds or Stocks Also I
give and bequeath unto
Mrs Rachel Crowther of
Christchurch College in
the University of Oxford
a Gold Ring of the value
of one Guinea And all
the Rest and Residue of
my Goods Chattels
Household Goods Wearing
Apparel Linen ffurniture
and personal Estate of
what Nature or Kind
soever and wheresoever
not hereinbefore
disposed of I give and
bequeath unto Mr
Benjamin Baxter and
William Pound both of
Christchurch College
aforesaid equally to be
divided between them
share and share alike
And I do hereby make
ordain nominate and
appoint the said
Benjamin Baxter sole
Executor of this my Will
hereby revoking all
former and other Will
and Wills by me at any
time heretofore made In
Witness whereof I the
said Elizabeth Pound
have to this my last
Will and Testament
written and contained in
one sheet of Paper set
my hand and Seal the
twenty fifth day of
