This is
the last Will and Testament of
me John Pond of Donheads Lodge
in the Parish of Motcombe in the
County of Dorset Yeoman ffirst I
direct all my just debts funeral
expences and the expences of
proving this my Will be paid by
my Executrix herein after named
as soon as conveniently may be
after my decease and subject
thereto I give devise and
bequeath unto my dearly beloved
wife Sarah Pond all and singular
my copyhold leasehold and
personal estate of whatsoever
nature kind or description or
wheresoever the same may be
situate including as well my
Copyhold messuage or dwelling
house Garden Inn & Premises
called or known by the name of
the New Inn and situate at a
place called Biddles Green in
the said Parish of Motcombe as
also my leasehold messuages or
dwelling house Garden and
premises situate in the Parish
of Shaston Saint James in the
said County of Dorset and now in
the occupation of John Hatcher
as Tenant thereof and also my
live and dead stock implements
of husbandry and stock in trade
a farmer at Donheads Lodge
aforesaid as also all and
singular my household goods
furniture plate linen china
...... and other Utensils as
well in my house at Donheads
Lodge as also in my said
dwelling house and premises at
Biddlesgreen aforesaid To hold
the same to the said Sarah Pond
her heirs executors admors and
assigns for ever In Trust for
the Payment of my debts funeral
expences and the expences of
proving this my Will as
aforesaid and then in trust to
pay and apply the remainder as
she my said Wife may deem Proper
and most advisable And I do
hereby appoint my said Wife the
said Sarah Pond sole Executrix
of this my last Will and
Testament In Witness whereof I
have hereunto set and subscribed
my hand and seal this eighth day
of November in the Year one
