In the name of god amen the ninethe daye
of Januarye in the thirtieth yeare of the raigne of our
soveraigne Ladie Elizabethe the quenes majestie that now is Anno
domini a thousand five hundred eightie eight I Grace Pointington
of Tyneham in the countie of Dorsett beinge sick in bodie but of
perfect remembrance doe make my last will and testament in
manner and forme followinge Viz ffirst I bequeathe my Sowle to
almightie god And my body to the earthe Item I give unto my
Sister Marie Webber widdowe twentie poundes to be payde within
one quarter of a yeare after my decease and after the decease of
my Sister the money to remaine unto her daughter Elizabeth
Webber And I give unto my Sister Webber all my Smocke and Lynen
Aprons And to her daughter Elizabeth my durance gowne and a
petticote next the best Item I give to my Brother Nicholas
Poyntingtons wife my best gowne my best petticote all my best
bandes and best georgette Item to my Sister Anne Sampford I give
my best hatt and a kirtle Item to my Sister Dorothye Winter I
give my taffata apron Item I give unto my sisters five Holland
yard kerchers Item to Ayme Cole a payer of Gatten gloves two
payer of stocking my best cavegarde (?)and a gowlde ringe Item
to my sonne Hector Daunt als Pointington I give twentie poundes
to be paide at the time he shall come to the age of twentie
yeares Also I appoynte my sonne my executor And John Williams
and Edmond Argenton gen overseers of this my Last will and
testament
