The Will of Jane Plomer

 

This is the last will and testament of me JANE PLOMER of the City of Canterbury widow I give and devise all that my Freehold messuage or Tenement situate in ?Shining Street? in the said City of Canterbury and now in my own occupation with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto WILLIAM HARRIS, JAMES HARRIS, CHARLES HARRIS and THOMAS HARRIS sons of my niece CHARLOTTE HARRIS widow equally to be divided between them share and share alike as tenants in common and not as joint tenants and unto their several and respective heirs and assigns for ever. I give and bequeath all that my household messuage or tenenment called the Black Boy in the said City of Canterbury and which I hold by lease under the Dean and Chapter of Christ Church Canterbury with the appurtenances unto my said niece CHARLOTTE HARRIS and her assigns for and during the term of her natural life she keeping the same in repair and from and after her decease I give and bequeath the same leasehold messuage or tenement unto the said WILLIAM HARRIS, JAMES HARRIS, CHARLES HARRIS and THOMAS HARRIS equally to be divided between them share and share alike and unto their several and respective executors and assigns. I give and bequeath unto my said niece CHARLOTTE HARRIS all my wearing apparell whatsoever and I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my goods chattells ready money securities for money, money in the public stocks or funds of this Kingdom and all other my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever unto the said WILLIAM HARRIS, JAMES HARRIS, CHARLES HARRIS and THOMAS HARRIS equally to be divided between them share and share alike and I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint GEORGE PLOMER of the said City of Canterbury gentleman sole executor of this my last will and testament and lastly I do hereby revoke all former wills and codicils by my made In Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the 20 October 1813.
