This is the last Will and Testament of me
Catherine Pilkington of Elton ffold within Elton in the Parish
of Bury and County of Lancaster Spinster made whilst of sound
and disposing mind memory and understanding in manner following
subject to the payment of my debts funeral and testamentary
expences and the costs of the probate and execution of this my
will I do hereby give devise and bequeath unto my daughter
Susanna Brown Woolfendon wife of Alfred Woolfendon all such
money property and effects as I am or may be entitled to arising
from the estate and effects of the late Thomas Ray of Tops in
Scotland Yeoman deceased and also all and every other my estate
and effects whatsoever of whatever the same may consist and
wheresoever situate and being whether in possession or reversion
or remainder or expectancy To hold the same respectively unto my
said daughter Susanna Brown Woolfendon her heirs executors
administrators and assigns absolutely for ever or for during all
my estate right title and interest therein and thereto
respectively and I do hereby revoke and make void all former and
other will and wills by me at any time heretofore made and do
publish and declare this only to be my last will and Testament
and hereof do nominate and appoint my said daughter Susanna
Brown Woolfendon sole Executrix In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty first day of April in
the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and thirty eight
