The Will of Nicholas Perry

 

This is the last Will and Testament of me Nicholas Perry late of the Parish of Mylor but now of Budock in the County of Cornwall Yeoman which I make publish and declare in manner and form following (that is to say) I direct all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be in the first place paid and discharged out of my personal estate hereinafter mentioned I give and bequeath unto my son Walter Perry the sum of ten Pounds to be paid at the expiration of one calendar month next after my decease I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter Sarah Perry daughter of my son Nicholas Perry the sum of five pounds to be paid in such proportions and at such times as my Executor hereinafter mentioned shall determine I give my watch and one silver table spoon unto John son of my son John Perry I give and bequeath unto my daughter Jane the Wife of John Brimacomb the sum of fifty pounds to be paid her at the expiration of one calendar month next after my decease And as to all the rest residue and remainder of my monies and securities for money wearing apparel plate linen and china and all other my goods chattels Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever After and subject to the Payment of my said debts funeral and testamentary expences and the legacies aforesaid I give and bequeath the same and every part thereof unto my son William Perry his executors administrators and assigns Provided also and I do hereby declare my Will to be that the kegacy hereinbefore given to my said daughter Jane Brimacomb shall be received and taken by her to and for her own sole and separate use and benefit and disposed of as she shall think fit independently of her said husband his creditors debts engagements and control and her receipts alone (notwithstanding her Coverture) shall be good discharges for the same or any and every part thereof And I appoint my said son William Perry sole Executor of my last Will and Testament and hereby revoking all former and other wills Codicils to Wills and Testamentary Dispositions by me at any time before made do publish and declare this only to be my true last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to the preceding sheet hereof set my hand and to this sheet my hand and seal this twenty first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty four_ Nicholas Perry
