The Will of Thomas Pembrook

 

This the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Pembrook of Kingston upon Thames in the County of Surrey Gentleman I give & devise unto my loving Wife Elizabeth Pembrook my ffreehold House in Norbiton Street in Kingston upon Thames aforesaid now in my own occupation with the Buildings Yard Garden & Appurts thereunto belonging & also my ffreehold House & two Cottages with the Yard Garden & Appurts thereunto belonging by the Lease to Robert Simmons situate in Hampton Wick in the County of Middlesex and also my Remainder in ffee expectant upon the death of Mrs Prudence ffrogley of & in a ffreehold House Brewhouse Yard & Buildings with the Appurts situate near Heathen Street in Kingston upon Thames aforesaid now in the possession of Mrs Rowlls & all other my real Estate whatsoever To hold unto her my said Wife for & during the term of her natural life & from & after her decease I Give & devise all my said Estates unto my Nephews & Nieces Gilbert Pembrook Richard Pembrook John Pembrook Hester Donne and Elizabeth Slater Sons & daurs of my late Brother Gilbert Pembrook deceased To hold to them my said Nephews & Nieces & their respective Heirs & Assigns as Tenants in common & not as joint Tenants Also I give to my said Wife the Dividends of One thousand Eight hundred pounds New South Sea Annuities for & during the term of her natural life & after her decease I give twenty pounds to the said Prudence ffrogley & One hundred Pounds to Thomas Smith of London Hatter natural Son of my late Son Spencer Pembrook deceased to be raised & paid out of the said Annuities & the Residue of the said Annuities after the decease of my said Wife I give to my said Nephews & Nieces to be equally divided between them Share & Share alike And all my Household ffurniture Plate Linen China & all the rest & residue of my Personal Estate I give to my said Wife to & for her use & benefit & I appoint my said Wife & my Nephew Gilbert Pembrook Executrix & Exor of this my Will & hereby revoke all other Will & Wills by me made In Witness I the said Thomas Pembrook the Testator have hereunto set my hand & Seal the twelfth day of March in the Year of our Lord 1810 Thos Pembrook
