I Robert Pearce of Dartmouth in the County of Devon late of Saint Johns in the Island of Newfoundland but now residing in Teignmouth in the County of Devon being at this time by the blessing of the Almighty in good health of body And of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament vizt I do give and bequeath to my dear wife Ann Pearce for the purposes hereinafter specified all that I am now or may be possessed of when this document shall take effect whether in money in the funds Promissory Notes Cash or any other Property leaving her my dear Wife sole Executrix and Administratrix and at her pleasure to appoint whomsoever she may deem proper for the discovery and realisation of any of my Property ....... my said dear wife Ann Pearce shall at her earliest convenience within twelve months after my decease Pay to my Sister Sophia Pearce one hundred and fifty pounds to my Sister Esther Stokes Pearce fifty pounds to my Brother William Pearce twenty five pounds and to my Brother Edward Stokes Pearce twenty five pounds and the residue and remainder of whatever I may possess when this document shall take effect to be for the sole use and benefit of my said dear wife Ann Pearce In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal at Teignmouth aforesaid this fifth day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty three Robert Pearce
