In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Payne of Abingdon in the County of Berks Bargemaster being of sound mind memory and understanding do for the disposal of my worldly Estate make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner following (that is to say) first I give and bequeath unto my brother in law William Inwood of Abingdon aforesaid Gentleman all that and those my household goods and furniture plate linen china and other effects and things in and about the house and premises wherein I now reside and all other my Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever to hold the same unto the said William Inwood his executors administrators and assigns in trust to pay thereout my funeral expences and all the just debts which I shall owe at my death and after payment and satisfaction thereof in trust to pay the residue thereof to my Sister Martha the Wife of the said William Inwood to and for her own use and benefit to whom I give the same absolutely And I nominate and appoint the said William Inwood the sole Executor in trust of this my last Will and Testament And lastly I revoke and make void all former and other Wills by me made and declare this only to be my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of October in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen Thomas Payne
