This is the last Will
of me John Parsons of Leigh Common in the Parish of Penselwood
in the County of Somerset Farmer I appoint my Friend George
Hiscock of Frith Farm Horsington Executor and Trustee of this my
Will I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Louisa Jane now living
with me all the Household Furniture and other Household effects
belonging to me at the time of my death absolutely for her
separate use I devise unto and to the use of the said George
Hiscock in fee simple All that piece of Freehold Land called or
known as little Field Mead situate in the parish of Stoke
Trister being a portion of certain Freehold hereditaments
conveyed to me by Indenture dated the twenty second day of
February one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight And as to
all the rest of my estate and effects both real and personal I
devise and bequeath the same unto and to the use of the said
George Hiscock his heirs Executors administrators and assigns
Upon trust as soon as conveniently may be after my decease
either by public auction or private contract to convert into
money all such of my said Residuary Real and Personal Estate as
shall not consist of money and after paying thereout all my just
debts Funeral and Testamentary expenses to divide the clear
residue equally between my said daughter Louisa Jane and my son
James their respective Executors Administrators or assigns And I
declare that the receipts of my said Trustee shall be discharges
for all moneys to be received by him under the trusts of this my
Will and shall exonerate the person or persons paying the same
from all liability in respect of the application thereof And it
is hereby declared that my said Trustee may in his uncontrolled
discretion instead of acting personally employ and pay a
Solicitor or any other person to transact any business or do any
act of whatever nature required to be done in the premises
including the receipt and payments of money
