I, James Parsons, of
Crouch Hill Farm in the Parish of Holwell do hereby make this my
last Will and Testament. I give and bequeath all my Property
that is now or may be belonging to me, in money, cattle,
Furniture or otherwise, to my five children, James, George,
John, Mary, and William, to be equally divided among them. I
omit my son Thomas in this my Will only because I have reason to
expect that he will be provided for by his uncle with whom he is
now living. And I hereby nominate and appoint my son James as
the Sole Executor of this my Will, to divide my Property as
above stated, after paying all my debts and funeral expenses.

On the twenty fifth day
of May one thousand eight hundred and fifty four the within
Will of James Parsons
late of Holwell in the County of Somerset and Archdeaconry of
Dorset Farmer deceased
was proved by the oath of James Parsons of Holwell aforesaid
Farmer the sole Executor therein named to whom Administration of
all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said
deceased was granted He being first duly sworn well and
faithfully to administer the same to exhibit a true and perfect
Inventory thereof into the Registry of the Court of the
Archdeacon of Dorset and render a just account thereon when
thereto lawfully required and that the whole of the Goods
chattels and credits of the said deceased does not amount in
value to the sum of
Six hundred pounds And
lastly that the said deceased died on or about the
Twentieth day of
January One thousand eight hundred and fifty four
