In the name of God Amen
I Elizabeth Parsons of North Cheriton in the County of Somerset
widow do make this my last will and testament in manner and form
following that is to say I give unto my son Meshack and Mr James
Hallett of Horsington in the said County Linen Manufacturer and
the survivor of them the principal sum of thirty nine pounds
nineteen shillings Upon Trust to pay the sum of nineteen pounds
and nineteen shillings and six pence unto John Parsons, the son
of my Daughter Mary to be paid him at such times and in such
manner as my Trustees shall think fit And also to apply the
interest accruing therefrom for his support and advancement
until he shall attain the age of twenty one years Also upon
Trust to pay the interest of the residue being nineteen pounds
nineteen shillings and six pence unto my Daughter Naomi ..for
the Benefit and Advancement of her son Charles until he shall
attain the age of twenty one years when I give him the said
Principal money but it is my will and desire that my Trustees
may advance any part of the said sum for the Benefit of the said
Charles with the Consent of his mother at any time But if
either the said John or Charles shall die before he shall attain
the age of twenty one years then I give the monies in the hands
of my Trustees to the survivor of them on his attaining twenty
one years Also I give the Best Bedstead and all the Furniture
and Bed Clothes belonging thereto which I now use unto the said
John Parsons And I appoint the said Meshack my son and the said
James Hallett Executors and Trustees of this my Will In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty ….. day
of November one thousand eight hundred and twenty three

lately whilst living and at the time of her death of the parish
of Maperton in the County of Somerset
Elizabeth was buried at
Horsington on 26th August 1833 aged 82, and described
as of North Cheriton. |
