The Will of Leonard Parkinson

 

In the Name of God Amen the twenty seventh day of April one thousand eight hundred & thirty nine Leonard Parkinson of Leeds Printer being very sick and weak of body but of Perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body knowing that it is appointed unto all Men once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament I give and bequeath to my well beloved son William Parkinson all my share of money which will come to me by the Property left by Mrs Alissons estate I now that my son William is a Godfearing man and that he will do Justice to all my family this my last Will and Testament Leonard Parkinson in the presence of  the subscribers William Tate William Dugdale
