The Will of Elizabeth Page

 

This is the last Will and Testament of Elizabeth Page of the Parish of Portsea in the County of Southampton, Widow, made when in good and perfect Health Mind and Memory whereby I recommend my Soul to God commit my Body to the Earth, and dispose of all such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me as follows (that is to say) First I give and bequeath to my Grandson Matthew Page of Portsea aforesaid his Heirs & Assigns forever All that my Messuage Tenement or Dwelling House and all and every the Appurtenances thereunto belonging situate lyeing and being in Marlborough Row on Portsmouth Common (and now in my own Occupation) in the parish of Portsea aforementioned. I give and bequeath unto my Niece Mary Morris all my Wearing Apparell And all the rest residue and remainder of my Estate and Effects, Household Goods and whatsoever is belonging unto me at the time of my Decease I give unto my said Grandson Matthew Page and I do hereby Nominate Constitute and Ordain him my said Grandson Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Elizh Page have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal the 15 Day of June One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eighty Seven Elizabeth Page
