The Will of John Pace

 

 This is the L W & T of me John Pace of Bowes... schoolmaster

I give devise and bequeath the use of my household furniture beds bedding linen plate and china unto my wife Dinah Pace for her natural life... and the interest of my money or securities and for bringing up my daughterss Ann & Mary Pace and my son John Pace.

To son John Pace all my books except such as my daughters Ann & Mary Pace may think proper to select for their own use.

To son John Pace one silver watch, one mahogany desk, one bed, one bedstead & bedding.

son John 19 guineas in lieu of his share in the household furniture etc linen plate, china... to daughters Ann Pace & Mary Pace to be equally divided after decease of my wife Dinah Pace. and 2 daughterss and son to get residue of moneys after her death... after funeral debts of Dinah discharged...

£100 can be applied to the better educating of my son John... Dinah Pace executrix and my brother Thomas Pace executor.
