April the 8th 1759

 

These are to Certifie whom it may concern That this is the last Will and request of me Elizabeth Oyles in the Parish of West Ham in the County of Essex First I recommend my Soul to the Mercies of God my Maker through the Merrits and Intercession of my Saviour Jesus Christ and what I am Possessed with in this World I Leave to my Neice Elizabeth Blackmore leaving her my Sole Heir and Executrix only Desires my aforesaid Neice to Give to Jane Disouton that was Espoused to my Brother Thomas such of my Wearing Apparel as She may think fit And this my further Desire that Mrs Clatch may be well Satisfied for what Trouble she has had and to Give Katherine Burnett all my Books Except my Bible and this is all and the whole Desires of me E Oyles Being signed in the Presence of Geo: Burnett  Robert Chitah – Witnesses
