This is the last Will and Testament of me William Owston of Number 14 Wapping Dock Street in the County of Middlesex mariner as follows (that is to say) First I direct all my just debts to be paid and satisfied And I give and bequeath to Mrs Jane Hogg of Bridlington Quay Yorkshire both my Gold rings (one a keeper) now in my desk I give to Mr Richard Owston the Bed belonging to me in his possession and my Watch I give to Mr Richard Chancellor Senior for his own use or for the use of either of his sons as he may think proper Also I give and bequeath to my friend William Brown of Number 268 High Street Wapping aforesaid the Sum of Five Pounds sterling And as to all The rest and residue of my Estate and Effects whatsoever I give the same unto the said Mrs Jane Hogg Mrs Mary Jane Muliett Elizabeth Hancock (her sister) and the said Richard Chancellor equally to be divided between them share and share alike I appoint the said William Brown Sole Executor of this my Will In Witness whereof I the said Testator William Owston have hereunto set my hand this 16^th day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty four Wm Owston
