This is the last Will and Testament of me Thomas Owens of the City of Canterbury a private in the second Regiment of Queens Royals ffirst and principally I resign my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator and as to all my Worldly Estate whatsoever and wheresoever being at present all personal estate which it hath or may please God to bestow upon me I dispose thereof as hereinafter mentioned viz I give devise and bequeath the same and every part and parcel thereof unto my Brother Robert Owens of Hilmans Court No 3 Russell Street Bermondsey Leather dresser to and for his own use and benefit absolutely Lastly I do hereby make ordain nominate constitute and appoint my said Brother Robert Owens Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me heretofore made and do declare these presents only to be and contain my last Will and Testament in writing in one sheet of paper contained set and affix my hand and seal this Eighth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty six Thomas Owens
