This is the last Will and Testament of me
Thomas Owen of Shrewsbury in the County of Salop Yeoman I direct
all my debts funeral and Testamentary expences of to be in the
first place paid and satisfied and subject thereto I bequeath to
my Nephew John Owen Son of my Brother John Owen one hundred
pounds To my Nephew Robert Owen Son of my same Brother John Owen
forty pounds To my niece Eleanor daughter of my same Brother
John Owen ten pounds To my Sister Elizabeth Randles ten pounds
To John Owens Son of Thomas Owens of Edgelley ffarmer fifteen
pounds To Jane Jones of the Wem in the Parish of Guilsfied
Spinster fifteen pounds To Evan Cadwallader of Shrewsbury Yeoman
ten pounds To Sarah daughter of my Sister Jane Jones five pounds
I give and bequeath unto my Executors hereinafter named the sum
of eighty pounds upon trust to deposit the said the sum of
eighty pounds in some Savings Bank in Shropshire at Interest in
the name of John Hughes (now an Infant aged two years or
thereabouts) Son of my Niece Elizabeth Hughes Wife of John
Hughes of Shrewsbury aforesaid Labourer and to remain
accumulating until the said John Hughes shall attain the age of
twenty one years and upon his attaining that age upon trust to
pay the same sum of eighty pounds together with all monies and
Interest accumulated thereon unto the said John Hughes for his
own use and benefit I bequeath all the Residue of my Personal
Estate to the said Thomas Owens and to William Barker Gibbins of
Shrewsbury Whitesmith whom I appoint Executors hereof And I
devise to them their Executors and Assigns all Estates vested in
me as Mortgagee or Trustee the better to enable them to carry
this my Will into Execution And I revoke all former Wills and
Testamentary dispositions by me In Witness whereof I have
hereunto sset my hand and seal this twenty fifth day of January
one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine The Mark X of Thomas
