This is the last Will and Testament of me Humphrey Owen of Machynlleth in the County of Montgomery Saddler I give to my mother Jane Owen for her life the interest on one hundred pounds the same interest to commence from the day of my decease I give to my friends John Meredith of Machynlleth Draper and David Jenkins of the same place shoemaker one hundred pounds Upon trust to pay the interest of the same to my Wife Ann Owen during her life and from and after her death Upon trust to pay the Principal and interest to Richard Owen the Son of Susan my Wife’s Sister the said Richard Owen now residing with me I empower my trustee and trustees for the time being to pay or apply the said sum of one hundred pounds and interest at any time after the decease of my said Wife to and for the maintenance education or otherwise of the said Richard Owen during his minority according to the discretion of such trustees or trustee I give devise and bequeath all the residue and remainder of my real and personal estate unto her my said Wife her heirs executors administrators and assigns absolutely And I devise to her all estates vested in me as trustee or mortgagee subject to the equities affecting the same respectively In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand the eighteenth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fifty four _ Humphrey Owen
