In the Name of God Amen I Rebecca Otway of
Eckington in the County of Derby being Weak in Body but of Sound
and Perfect Mind and Memory (Praised be God for the same) Do
make and Publish this my last Will and Testament in manner
following (that is to say) First I commend my Soul to Almighty
God that Gave it and my Body I Commit to the Earth to be
Decently buried at the Discretion of my Executor hereinafter
named And as to my Worldly Estate I Dispose thereof as follows
First I Will that all my Just Debts and ffuneral charges be paid
and discharged Item I Give and bequeath unto George Parr of
Eckington aforesaid Gentleman One Guinea to buy him a Ring And I
Give to his Wife Elizabeth Parr three Guineas to buy her a Ring
Item I Give and bequeath unto John White of Ashtead in the
County of Surrey Gentleman the Sum of Ten Pounds I Give and
bequeath unto my Old friend and Acquaintance Grace Waterman
Widow and to her Daughter Betty Waterman One Guinea a piece for
a Ring And all the Rest residue and remainder of my Estate Real
and Personal whatsoever and wheresoever I Give Devise and
bequeath the same unto my Kinsman Edward Hubbald of Milk Street
London Gentleman and his Heirs Executors Administrators and
Assigns for ever And I do hereby Constitute and Appoint the said
Edward Hubbald full and Sole Executor of this my last Will and
Testament And I do hereby Revoke disannul and make Void all
former Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made
and declare this to be and contain my last Will and Testament In
Witness whereof I the said Rebecca Otway have hereunto set my
hand and Seal this ffifteenth day of August In the year of our
Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Seven Rebecca Otway
