In the Name of God Amen I William Oram of the Parish of Shalbourne in the County of Wilts and Berks do constitute order and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say Item I do order that my just debts be paid by my Executor Item I give and bequeath my body to be buried in Shalbourne Church Yard at the discretion of my Executor in a Christian like manner Item I give and bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who first gave it me I give and bequeath to my beloved son Thomas Pocock Oram my ffreehold Estate called or known by the name of Pococks laying and being in the Parish of Shalbourne in the County of Berks and after to his Issue lawfully begotten but if he should die without Issue then it is to go to the heir at law I give unto my daughter Elizabeth Ann Oram the house called ....... and all other premises thereunto belonging and all the tools and Stock in trade and all the household goods Also the Land of King’s Bargain except Kings Meadow laying in the Parish of Shalbourne in the County of Wilts and to her heirs lawfully begotten but if she should die without Issue she is to will it to whom she pleases To my daughter Susannah Baverstock I give and bequeath King’s House and the Meadow adjoining called Kings Meadow which did belong to ..... I also give and bequeath to my daughter Susannah Baverstock fifty pounds I also give to my son Thomas Pocock Oram whom I do appoint my whole and sole Executor One hundred pounds I also give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Ann Oram One hundred and fifty pounds Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names this twenty ninth day of August One thousand eight hundred and twenty William Oram
