This is the last Will and Testament of me William Nye of Horsham in the County of Sussex Yeoman ffirst all my just debts funeral and testamentary expences to be fully paid and satisfied with all convenient speed after my decease I give and bequeath unto William Nye son of my brother John Nye the Sum of One Thousand Pounds four pounds per Centum Consolidated Bank Annuities now standing in my name in the books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England I give and bequeath unto Thomas Nye another son of my brother John Nye the Sum of ffour hundred and seventy pounds four pounds per Centum Consols Bank Annuities also standing in my name in the books of the Governor and Company of the Bank of England I declare and direct that the interest which may be due on the two several Sums hereinbefore mentioned at the time of my decease shall be received by my Executors hereinafter mentioned and applied by them in and towards discharging my ffuneral expences and just debts I give and bequeath to Phoebe fford of Arundel in the County of Sussex the Sum of One hundred and fifty pounds for her own sole and separate use I give and bequeath unto Henry Nye Grandson of my said brother John Nye Cabinet Maker the Sum of One hundred pounds I give unto Elizabeth Stepney wife of Henry Stepney of Horsham aforesaid the sum of ffifty pounds I give and bequeath unto each of the two Daughters of my brother Thomas Nye late of Oxford in the County of Oxfordshire Stone Mason the sum of one hundred pounds And as to all the rest & residue of my property which may remain undisposed of by this my Will I give and bequeath the same unto Henry Goddard of Beeding in the County of Sussex aforesaid Yeoman I do hereby nominate and appoint Thomas Honywood and John Honywood of Horsham aforesaid Builders Executors of this my Will and I do hereby declare my Will to be that my said Executors or either of them their or either of their executors or administrators shall not be charged or chargeable with or accountable for any more monies than they respectively shall actually receive or shall come to their respective hands by virtue of this my Will nor with or for any loss which shall happen to the same monies or any part thereof so such loss shall happen without their respective wilful default nor any defaults of the other or others of them or for the acts deeds receipts disbursements or defaults of the other or others but each of them only for his own acts receipts deeds disbursements and wilful defaults And also that it shall be lawful for them my said Executors and each of them and their respective executors & administrators in the first place by and out of the monies to be received by them to deduct and reimburse themselves respectively all such loss costs charges and expences as they shall respectively sustain or be put unto by reason of anything in this my will And lastly I do hereby revoke annul and make void all former and other Will and Wills and Testamentary Dispositions by me at any time heretofore made or published and do publish this only as to this my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I the said William Nye have to this my last Will and Testament contained in this and the preceding sheet set my hand and seal and my hand at the bottom of the preceding sheet and my hand and seal to this last sheet and my seal at the top of the said sheets where the said sheets are fixed together this eighth day of September One thousand eight hundred and twenty nine Wm Nye
