This is the last Will and Testament of me John Norris of Bower Chalke in the County of Wilts Blacksmith by which I give and bequeath my property and effects in manner and form following that is to say I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Josiah Norris the sum of twenty pounds also I give and bequeath unto my nephew Jeremiah Soffe the sum of twenty pounds also I give and bequeath unto my niece Sarah Copman the Sum of twenty pounds also I give and bequeath unto my niece Sarah Targett the sum of twenty pounds also I give and bequeath unto my niece Betty Barrow the sum of eighty pounds also I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Edward Hardeman and Betty Burrow all that my house orchard and Garden situate in Quidnam Street now in the occupation of John Oak to hold to them the said Edward Hardiman and Betty Burrow as joint tenants with the usual benefit of survivorship and thereupon to such survivor his or her Executors or admors for and during my whole term estate and interest therein to come all the rest residue and remainder of my estate and effects household Goods and furniture Plate linen and China and all my ready money money in the stocks and securities for money and all other my property estate and effects of what nature and kindsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my Nephew Edward Hardiman his executors admors and assigns subject to the payment of all my debts and funeral and testamentary expences and lastly I do hereby make constitute and appoint my said Nephew Edward Hardiman whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty seven John Norris
