The Will of Isabel Nicklin

 

In the Name of God Amen I Isabel Nicklin Wife of Edward Nicklin late of Blocksom in the County of Oxford Gentleman being Sick and Weak in Body and of Sound and Disposing Mind Memory and understanding praised nbe God do therefore make and ordain this my last Will and Testament by virtue of a Power given and reserved to me in and by a Bond Articles or other Deed or Instrument in Writing whereby power is given me to dispose of Six Hundred Pounds or some such Sum to such Person or Persons I was minded to give and bequeath the same unto Now I do hereby give and bequeath unto my Sister Ann Ivans the sum of fifty pounds and to my Sister Venor five pounds and to my Neice Margaret Claridge one hundred pounds and the Cost of my Clothes or Wearing Apparell and the Worser sort of my Apparel I give and bequeath unto Ann Parsons and Mary Shepherd and all the rest and residue of the said moneys and others my Personal Estate of what nature or kind soever I give and bequeath unto my Nephew William Claridge whom I make and appoint Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament revoking and making void all other Will and Wills by me made In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal the 17th day of August in the year of our Lord 1750 Isabell Nicklin her mark
